September was a strange month. I started the month with a 2 hour visit to casualty- all my sisters fault. Seems its not a good idea to chase each other like schoolkids with a torn calf muscle...take it from me it hurts.
Hal and I spent a pleasant if wet 3 days in Wales. We visited Glenda for an afternoon and got to meet William again. He is still such a stunning dog and what a gentleman with the pups.
I limped my way through Darlington and Driffield shows...many thanks to Gillian and Steph for running Evo-you're both stars. Darlington show was a mudbath. For the first time in I dont know how long I only made it for working day. Driffield was much more civilised but as I couldnt hardly walk was a bit of a non-starter.
And then on 26th Hal and Aunty Dianne brought Hudson home to stay. He's fitted in superbly. Thanks Glenda for allowing us to look after another one of your dogs. Evo was an only dog for just over a year, I hadnt realsed how much losing Q had affected him till seeing him play with Hudson. Waiting the extra months since may for a new pup to be born was in hindsight too long but my blonde bombshell has a new lease of life and a new lil bro to play with.
So what if the wallpaper is disappearing in places, and the backdoor is nearly seethrough. So what if a certain young chap has discovered he can unload the washer and wet towls make a neat thing to play with behind the settee. I dont care-we have a happy household again.
Hudson now has his own pages where you can keep up with his progress and see photos of his family and friends. I've also added a new link to the Teamaides website where Hudson's dad is from. Enjoy.
